The catch is that many roles are part-time, freelance, or project-based instead of steady full-time jobs.

The duties depend heavily on the company. A beginner-friendly online data analyst role may involve judging whether online information is useful, accurate, local, relevant, safe, or matched to what a person searched for.

A legitimate application should not ask you to pay fees, buy training, purchase test answers, deposit a check, move money, send gift cards, or share banking details before you verify the company. Apply through official company pages whenever possible.
